Gathering Forest Foods

During class sessions of the Andes and Amazon Field School students and faculty frequently go out into the forest with indigenous people to gather foods as well as to record narratives about these foods.

We are interested not only in the foods themselves but in understanding Quichua thinking on how foods connect the the body to the land.
